Iraq signed a contract to finance the dry canal project with the World Bank

Baghdad (news) .. Iraq signed by the representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Housing with World Bank financing contract dry canal project in Iraq, attended by the Minister of Construction and Housing (Mohammed Darraji) and the Minister of Finance Agency (purity of net debt) and a representative of the World Bank (Fred Belhadj).
The Minister of Construction and Housing during the signing ceremony that the agreement came as part of a major project to develop and establish ways of a new strategy linking Iraq to neighboring countries, stressing that the World Bank recognized the site of the Iraqi strategic and important for the development of global trade and passing through Iraq, where Iraq is the link between the East and the West.
He added: The methods that will be implemented within this agreement include road (Basra - Safwan) and by (Nasiriya - Rumaila) and by (Nasiriya - Samawah - bureaucracy), noting the that the ministry has already forwarded the draft rehabilitation project Highway portion (Baghdad - suit - bureaucracy) within the budget of the ministry of investment allocated from the state.
The minister: Pan Road Project (Baghdad - Heat - Trebil and newborn), which links the capital, Baghdad, Jordan and Syria engaged in negotiations on financing by the Islamic Development Bank to be the international road complete from the extreme of Basra and to the international border link between Iraq, Syria and Jordan, stressing that the special designs penguin Highway Traffic No. 2, which stretches from Baghdad to the Turkish border will be completed during the coming period, where the ministry will refer the first part of the road, a road (Baghdad - Samarra) a length of 94 km in the general budget of the ministry, while the remaining parts of the road, there are negotiations with investment companies that bid for Created the road.
