MP: Today's session will witness the election of the presidencies of these committees

On Monday (April 15, 2019), parliamentary speaker Khadija Ali announced the parliamentary committees that will hold today's presidential elections.
Khadija Ali said in a press statement that "most of the permanent parliamentary committees will begin on Monday to elect a president and a deputy and a rapporteur," pointing out that "among the parliamentary committees that have indicated their willingness to choose a president is the Education Committee within the terms set by the Speaker of Parliament" .
"The Higher Education Committee will be the share of the Sunni or Kurdish components on the basis that the selection of the chairman of the committee is contrary to the orientations and affiliations of the minister," she said. "The existence of this political tradition will prevent us from falling into contradictions in the process of selecting the chairman of the committee.
