Iraq's Communist Party called on Wednesday for the resignation of the government and early elections.
A statement issued by the party received (Mawazine News), that "the final results issued yesterday, to investigate the government committee in the bloody repression of the October demonstrations, and the conclusions and recommendations, showed that the last hope that the government and its institutions bear political responsibility and criminal responsibility for "The killing and wounding of thousands of innocent and unarmed people has been completely dashed, just as the hopes for the government to complete its program, on which the parliament gained confidence a year ago, have been dashed."
