[size=18]Amoun al-Oqabi, a member of parliament, said Saturday he regretted that many deputies did not attend parliament because of the security situation.

Al-Oqabi said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "other deputies came to the parliament in order to participate in holding the session of the House of Representatives, in full number," noting "We regret the lack of attendance of many deputies because of the security situation."

"The reason we came was to vote on the decisions and demands of the people and the demonstrators."

The House of Representatives decided to cancel the session of the House scheduled for Saturday, to discuss the demands of the demonstrators.
