Al-Rafidain Bank issued on Friday a statement on the liquidity of salaries in private outlets, indicating that its branches spread in Baghdad and the provinces continue to spend the amounts of money to the owners of private outlets.
"A meeting was held between the director general of the bank Afrah Mohammed and the head of the association of private outlets in the presence of a number of private outlets to discuss the obstacles that prevent the granting of financial dues to the owners of the outlets," the bank's media office said in a statement.
He added, "The meeting also touched on the development of a joint plan to avoid the recurrence of such cases," noting that "the bank has sufficient liquidity to distribute the salaries of employees and retirees and the entitlements of the owners of private outlets offices and other categories and without interruption after the allocation of large amounts of money to feed its branches."
The bank called on employees, retirees and outlet owners to "visit its branches or any place and receive their salaries at any time," noting that "if any branch refuses to pay the dues of the owners of the outlets, citizens should call the complaints telephone (07901940112) and will be required to do so."
