Al-Baldawi: Two main reasons behind the delay in forming the transitional government

Attorney Muhammad al-Baldawi, a member of the "Construction" coalition, attributed the decline in the dialogues to form [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/12387/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%86%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9]the transitional government[/url] to two main reasons.
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement: "The dialogues regarding the formation of the next government have progressed and have come a long way during the last period, but they have suffered a significant decline recently."
He added: "Some of the blocs have retreated in their dialogues and positions and do not want to form a [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/12387/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%86%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9]transitional government[/url] and nominate a candidate for the prime minister, because of their fear of losing their gains and their demise in early elections."
Al-Baldawi continued: "The ambiguity of the personality of the President of the Republic and his procrastinating position is another reason for the delay in resolving the matter."
