The head of the Central Employment Office in Basra Governorate, Muhammad al-Abadi, announced today, Saturday, the start of the development of an integrated database for the unemployed in the governorate.
Al-Abadi said in a statement to Information Agency that “the cadres operating the governorate have started to develop an integrated database for the unemployed in the governorate.”
He added, "We are working in the coming stage to know the specializations and what companies and the private sector need to employ workers and employees to stick the unemployed," noting that "the unemployment rate in the governorate is increasing."
Al-Abadi stressed "the necessity of relying on the private sector, including oil companies, ports and the work of investment companies, and not relying on the government sector only." Ended / 25A
