Economist Dr. Safwan Qusai said on Tuesday that the entry of the Crohna virus to Iraq will not affect him economically at the near level, pointing out that oil prices will recover after the first half of this year.
Qusai said in a statement to the "information", that "the entry of the Corona virus into [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]  and its spread in the world will affect the global economy in general, but [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]  will not be affected significantly, especially in the first half of this year."
He added that "what is available from the Iraqi merchant and goods will be sufficient for the first half of this year, as the market will return to its position, especially with regard to oil, which suffers from a decline during the first quarter of this year, making the price of a barrel of oil range from 52-55 dollars."
He stressed that "oil prices will return to recovery after the first half of 2020, and China will begin to return to normal import of oil, after suffering economic paralysis, especially in some areas where the virus has spread."
He pointed out the importance of "activating electronic commerce while controlling border outlets and closing some of them in order to avoid the spread of the virus, as this will ensure continued import and prevent an economic crisis." 25 n ended
