[size=45]The Ministry of Finance announced today, Thursday, that it has signed joint cooperation agreements with its Saudi counterpart, during the participation of Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, visiting the Kingdom with the high government delegation headed by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.[/size]
[size=45]A statement by the ministry stated that it is a continuation of the work of the conference of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, which was held in Baghdad in January 2020, where the Iraqi Minister of Finance Ali Abdul Amir Allawi signed an agreement to prevent double taxation, and it was signed on the Saudi side by the Saudi Minister of Finance.[/size]
[size=45]The Minister also signed the Saudi Export Financing Agreement, and on the Saudi side it was signed by the designated CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development.[/size]
[size=45]In addition to the Iraqi government signing three agreements and joint memoranda of understanding between the Iraqi and Saudi sides represented "in the field of development planning for economic diversification and private sector development, an agreement in the field of culture and an agreement in the field of media."[/size]
[size=45]These steps come to complete the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordinating Council to support and enhance the interests of the two brotherly countries in the fields of tourism, economy, security, development and trade, which will contribute to supporting the national economy, attracting foreign investment and enhancing revenues through achieving economic development.[/size]
