The dollar exchange in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan province, on Tuesday afternoon saw a "significant" rise in dollar exchange rates.
According to a Correspondent for Shafq News in Erbil, the sale price was 1,494 Iraqi dinars for $1, while the purchase price was 1,490 dinars.
Our correspondent quoted the owners of banking offices, that there is a high demand for buying the dollar.
The dollar also rose this morning in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan province, where the sale price reached 148,000 dinars per 100 dollars, buying and 147,500 dinars per 100 US dollars.
