On Thursday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee revealed the most prominent laws preparing for voting in the House of Representatives.

Hussein Al-Uqabi, a member of the committee, told the official agency, and he was followed by People (May 13, 2021), that "the most prominent laws that the House of Representatives must legislate during the coming period pertain to the telecommunications sector, including the Information Crimes Law, the Ministry of Communications Law and the Media and Communications Authority Law."
He stressed, "the necessity of reconsidering these institutions, which are not necessary, with the presence of the Ministry of Communications and the two bodies of communication, broadcasting and transmission, and it is possible that they be part of the Ministry of Communications system and laws are formulated for them."
Al-Uqabi suggested, "Incorporate the media commission into the ministry as an independent body."
While he pointed out that "there are laws related to the housing crisis, the treatment of slums and the provision of housing for citizens, and they need legislative cover, which is an important and vital topic," noting that "there is a retirement law for the private sector and workers and there are a number of laws in the parliamentary committees that must be considered and enacted. ".
He added that "there is the Civil Service Law, which is one of the basic laws, especially after the legislation of the Federal Service Council Law on appointments," explaining that "the Civil Service Law needs to be reformulated in a different way and canceling all previous laws because the Federal Service Law is concerned with appointments, promotion, bonus and promotion and these issues. It must be formulated in the new civil service law. "
