    On Thursday, the Federal Integrity Commission arrested (3) suspects in the Al-Amarah Municipality Directorate. For their involvement in leaking information and data about municipal plots to guides and trackers in violation of the law.

    The Commission's Investigation Department, while talking about the details of the two seizures that were carried out based on two judicial seizure warrants, stated, in a statement, a copy of which was received by "Nass", (June 17, 2021), that "a team from the Commission's investigation office in Maysan Governorate was able to From the seizure of two employees working in the Directorate of the Municipality of Al-Amarah and in possession of them (a flash) containing the data of plots of lands belonging to the municipality, based on the provisions of Article (307) of the Penal Code.  
    The department explained that "the initial investigations conducted by the team led to the defendants providing guides, trackers and other persons with data on plots of land belonging to the Municipality of Al-Amarah illegally in exchange for sums of money, pointing out that the other defendants did not have access to the data."  
    And she added that "the team, in a second operation, and based on the information it obtained through interrogation with the two defendants in the first operation, was able to arrest an official (the former Article 20 calculator unit) in the Municipality of Al-Amarah, for handing over one of the accused in the first two flash memory operations. ) contains the data of the municipality plots in violation of the law, in order to sell them and leak the data of the municipality plots to auctioneer, trackers and other persons.  
    The statement indicated that "two fundamentalist arrest reports were organized in the two operations, and they, along with the three accused and the seized items, were presented to the competent investigative judge, who decided to arrest them pending investigation."  
    On the eighth of last March, the authority announced that it had arrested the former director of the municipality of Al-Amarah, and the head of its computer division. Based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code.
