, the Secretary-General of the Dialogue and Change Party, Hamid Al-Mutlaq, confirmed that he would not rule out the existence of deals to prevent the questioning of the Minister of Finance.
Al-Mutlaq said in a television interview, which was followed by Mawazine Nowiz, that "the political consensus regarding this obstruction is very likely for purposes and reasons that serve only MPs and heads of parliamentary blocs."
And he continued, "The House of Representatives is suspended by a political decision, provided that it does not play its role in certain issues," and that "the Presidency of the Parliament bears part of the disruption to the sessions."
Regarding the uncontrolled weapons in the country, al-Mutlaq said, "Any weapon outside the control of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces is considered uncontrolled," and that the US presence in Iraq is not an occupation and it has a security agreement with the government. Ended 29/ 77
