The decision of the Finance Committee, Ahmed Al-Saffar, confirmed today, Sunday, that the deficit in the budget was completely covered.
Al-Saffar said in a statement followed by the "National News Center", that "the Ministry of Finance no longer has any justification for not releasing allocations, bonuses and upgrades after the economic improvement as a result of the rise in global oil prices."
He added, "The deficit in the budget was completely covered by the difference in the price of a barrel of oil," explaining, "Any further increase will achieve additional financial abundance."
