Jbouri, Mladenov discuss Kurdish nominations for presidency post

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Parliamentary Speaker Saleem al-Jbouri disclosed that the meeting with UN representative to Iraq Nicolai Mladenov concentrated on Kurdish nominations for presidency post.
In a statement by his media office, Jbouri stated that the Kurds submitted more than one candidate for the post, pointing that the third stage is the election for the premiership post.
He hailed the role played by the United Nations in Iraq, particularly supporting the work of the Iraqi parliament and participation in solving some of the crises in the country.
