[size=45]Prominent Iraqi politician Mithal Al-Alusi confirmed, on Monday, that Iran has worked during the previous period, especially in the past few days, to destabilize the Iraqi government through its followers within the armed groups and parties that own weapons, to thwart the Iraqi-American talks.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Alusi explained, "Iran does not want talks between Iraq and America, but rather wants the talks to be between them and America only, and it is the one who agrees with it and bargains at the expense of the Iraqis and imposes on Iraq what is agreed upon."[/size]

[size=45]He added, "I would have liked to see Iraqi unity regarding the Iraqi strategic issue without implementing the Iranian agendas or waiting for the position of a helpless parliament that wants to remove the American forces to be replaced by the Iranian militia forces, but Iran prevented this from being achieved with great regret.[/size]
