Al-Rasheed Bank set, today, Thursday, the highest ceiling for loans granted to purchase cars, and while revealing the mechanism for disbursing them to citizens, it announced the replacement of a 100-salary advance for the purchase of housing units.
A spokeswoman for Al-Rasheed Bank, Amal Al-Shuwaili, said, "Al-Rasheed Bank launched loans for the purchase of cars amounting to a maximum of 60 million dinars, and there are contracts with a number of sober companies for the sale of cars," explaining that "the mechanism is applied through the customer's review of the company, and we published on the bank's website the names of companies that have contracted with the bank.
She explained that "every willing customer must rely on the official page of the site, review the company, and choose the car that suits his situation and ability, and the transaction will be promoted, and the payment will be exclusively in the bank's branches and not anywhere else."
And she added, "The employee presents without a guarantor, and the citizen must have a guarantor."
Regarding loans for the purchase of housing units, Al-Shuwaili said, "The bank previously launched a 100-salary advance to purchase housing, which is a procedure that has been in place for years, and payment problems occurred and burdened the citizen, perhaps because of the lack of correct behavior because the amount was granted for the purposes of buying a housing unit or a house, and with a deadline of six months to obtain a bond. for the bank.”
And she continued, "However, we regret that some citizens did not invest the matter properly and there were significant financial consequences for it, and the concerned authorities in the bank decided to replace the advance of 100 salaries by stipulating the purchase of housing units, whether it is a house or an apartment from investment housing complexes, to ensure the right of the customer and guarantee the recovery of the bank's money."
She pointed out that "the bank's money is the money of citizens who are depositors, and it is the bank's duty to preserve it, and through it, advances, loans and investment are granted. Al-Rasheed Bank is keen that these funds are under hand and returned to their owners whenever they are requested, and the bank requests guarantees on citizens to save the money of depositors in it."
Al-Shuwaili called on "all customers to deal with the bank directly and not to deal with companies and that it is not responsible for them," explaining that "there are many problems that reach us in this regard because there is no legal basis to hold the company or the outlets accountable or anyone who claims to deal with the bank."
