expert Tara, Tuesday, the President's term expires at the end of the
session of the House of representatives and confess to his duties until
after the election of the new meeting house.
Al-Ibadi said in a
statement that "the President's term expires at the end of the session
of the House and continue to exercise his duties until after the end of
the election of the new Council of representatives, meeting on the
election of a new President within 30 days of the date of the first
meeting of the Council".
He explained that "in the event that the
Office of President of the Republic for any reason, a new President
will be elected to complete the remaining period of its mandate on the
basis of article 27 section I and II of the Constitution, the President
of the Republic the right to submit his resignation in writing to the
speaker of the House, and the window after 7 days from the date of
deposit with the House of representatives," according to the
Constitution, the Vice President replaces the President when he is
absent for any reason
