The Central Bank of Iraq.. External remittances exceed 158 million dollars
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a stability in its sales to reach 192 million, and 496 thousand and 931 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to last Thursday, which Sales amounted to 192 million 482 thousand and 446 US dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 158 million and 846 thousand and 931 dollars, while the remaining amount of 33 million and 650 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 25 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, 13 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 195 mediation companies.
