The Minister of Justice discusses with the Palestinian ambassador the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two countries

{Local: Al Furat News} The Iraqi Minister of Justice, Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad, discussed with the Palestinian ambassador in Baghdad the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Baladim in the near future.
And the media of the Ministry of Justice said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that “Justice Minister Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad, received in his office the Palestinian ambassador to Baghdad Ahmed Aqel and his accompanying delegation, and the meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially with regard to signing a memorandum of cooperation.” In the legal fields and judicial notifications between the Iraqi and Palestinian Ministries of Justice in the near future, in the presence of Senior Undersecretary Ziad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Director General of the Judicial Relations Department Ahmed Laibi Abdul Hussein.
During the meeting, the minister affirmed Iraq's position in support of the Palestinian cause, its support in international forums, and its support for the Palestinian people in achieving their aspirations and obtaining their full legitimate rights, stressing "the importance of solidarity, coordination and effective action at all levels in order to end this suffering." and protect their legitimate rights.
While the minister called on the Palestinian ambassador to attend to participate in the work of the conference on (Introducing the Draft Law of Enforced Disappearances and Missing Persons), which will be held in Najaf Governorate during the next month 2021.
For his part, Ambassador Ahmed Aqel expressed his thanks and appreciation to the minister, praising Iraq’s official position regarding the events taking place in Palestine, and its support for the rights of the Palestinian people and their just cause, and Iraq’s adherence to the need for the Palestinian people to obtain all their legitimate rights, while stressing the desire of his country’s government to sign a memorandum of understanding Between the two ministries in the near future, as well as his participation in the work of the conference, which will be held in Najaf governorate next month, because of its great importance in achieving social justice.
