[size=45]Representative Alia Nassif renewed her demand to amend the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar and to make an amendment to it by the government in the financial budget for the year 2022.[/size]
[size=45]And she said in a statement today: "We have previously called for restoring the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar to what it was in the past, after the rise in oil prices in global markets and the lack of a need to maintain the new exchange rate."[/size]
[size=45]Nassif explained: “The people affected by the increase in the price of the dollar and the decrease in the price of the dinar are the poor and toiling class who do not find their livelihood,” noting: “The government should make adjustments to the next year’s budget and reduce the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar and return it to the previous price.”[/size]
