The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kazemi discussed, in a phone call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the bilateral relations between the two countries and congratulated him on the occasion of assuming the duties of his position, wishing that relations between the two countries would witness further progress and prosperity."
Al-Kazemi highlighted the importance of the German role in participating in the war on terrorism, in which Iraq plays the role of the first responder, and the importance of security and intelligence cooperation in the field of combating terrorism.
