, the Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Tuesday, the issuance of 632 convictions against defendants during the past year, while referring to the prevention of waste and the investigation of more than 15 trillion dinars.
The authority said in a statement issued during its conference to announce its achievements report for the year 2021, which was received by "Mawazine News", that it "worked on (18,964) criminal cases during the past year."
She added that "the number of defendants in these cases amounted to 11,605 defendants, 15,290 defendants were charged, including (54) ministers and those of his rank, 101 were charged, and (422) defendants of special ranks, general managers and those of their rank were charged. They are charged with (712) charges.
And she indicated that "632 convictions were issued, including one against a minister, and (42) against (23) people with special degrees, general managers and those of their rank.
In a second statement received by Mawazine News, the authority stated that "the public funds that were recovered, investigated, or for which judicial rulings were issued to return them, and which the authority prevented and stopped wasting based on its procedures, and which were actually returned to the public treasury account, totaled (642,498,499,204) dinars. and (10,025,779,729) US dollars.
