Earth News / The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed today, Tuesday , that Iraq and Lebanon intend to sign memoranda of understanding in the industrial field .
A ministry statement received by Earth News stated that " Iraq 's ambassador to Lebanon, Haider Shia Al- Barrak , met today with the Lebanese Minister of Industry , Georges Bou Shakyan, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry in Beirut ."
The statement added that " the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, in addition to issues of common interest and related to the industrial aspect between Iraq and Lebanon ."
The statement continued , " The Lebanese minister reviewed his recent visit to Baghdad and the opening of the ( Made in Lebanon ) exhibition , in addition to the intention to sign memoranda of understanding regarding the industrial field between the two countries ."
