Erbil bombing investigations... Hosting Al-Kazemi in the Iraqi parliament
Shafaq News/ Today, Thursday, the "Sovereignty" coalition suggested hosting the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the Ministers of Defense and Interior at the Parliamentary Investigation Committee regarding the Iranian bombing that targeted Erbil.
The leader of the coalition, MP Raad Al-Dahlaki, told Shafaq News Agency, "The committee in charge of the Erbil bombing incident has decided, after listening to the report of the Minister of Interior in the region, to host Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in his capacity as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Ministers of Interior and Defense and the Commander of Joint Operations or their representatives. ".
Al-Dahlaki explained, "Hosting security figures and leaders is according to what the Parliamentary Committee sees, which is concerned with hosting any figure regarding the incident."
He explained that "the committee discussed the issue of hosting a number of personalities and leaders of the security services, so that there would be a governmental position towards the Iranian aggression and work to internationalize the issue," stressing the need for "there should be an international position towards the blatant attack on Iraqi lands."
This morning, the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, Reber Ahmed, presented a detailed report on the bombing during a meeting inside the Iraqi Parliament in Baghdad, and Al-Dahlaki participated in the meeting as a representative of the Sovereignty Alliance.
The Minister of Interior of Kurdistan, said that the Iranian missiles that bombed Erbil "smart cross-border used in wars," noting that the bombing of Erbil "exceeded Iraqi sovereignty and violated good-neighborly agreements and treaties."
The Minister of Interior of the Region also indicated that the targeted sites are a civilian site for the establishment of a well-known Iraqi Kurdish investor in Iraq, and stressed that the Kurdistan Region is open and cooperative with everyone and is ready for any committee to come and investigate and reveal the bombing sites.
Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, was attacked (on Saturday night, Sunday, March 13th), by 12 "long-range" ballistic missiles, which were launched from outside the Iraqi borders, and landed in the vicinity of the American consulate and Kurdistan 24 station in the Salah al-Din resort, which resulted in damages. Physically in buildings and homes, while the Iranian Revolutionary Guard "officially" claimed this attack, claiming that there was an Israeli base.
The Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers confirmed that the site targeted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards is a civilian, and not an Israeli base, as it claims.
The next day, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, and informed him of its protest against the targeting of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
