, the Finance Committee headed by Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, received the head of the Social Protection Network of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Huda Sajjad, to discuss the social protection law and raise the subsidy ceiling due to the high prices and the high cost of living.
The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "the committee discussed with Sajjad during the meeting held at its headquarters the financial allocations for the network and the issue of the social researcher."
Al-Kaabi stressed "the need to stand with this important segment and how to cover the funds allocated in the law of emergency support for food security and development to alleviate poverty, employ manpower and support income-generating projects, as well as issues related to the work of oversight and review of the mechanism of inclusion and deportation of those who are not eligible."
