    The Martyrs Foundation granted a cash allowance to five thousand families of the Popular Mobilization martyrs, indicating that it is studying extending the retirement age for them.
    The Director General of the Popular Mobilization Martyrs Department in the Foundation, Tariq Al-Mandalawi, said: "We have worked to grant the families of the martyrs a real estate allowance of 30 million dinars for 5,000 families out of 10,000, according to the foundation and the department's database, and work is still underway to grant them plots of land."
    Al-Mandalawi added that “the department was created under the Martyrs Foundation Law No. 2 of 2016 and began its tasks in coordination with the Popular Mobilization Authority, to document the data of the martyrs and the injured to give them their rights in addition to other privileges such as endorsements and the issuance of special identities,” noting that “the privileges also include transportation from their departments to Others for those wishing to be appointed, granting them 5 degrees on their averages for applicants for the medical group, 7 degrees for other groups, and seats in postgraduate studies at the master’s and doctoral degrees.”
    Al-Mandalawi stressed that “the department is awaiting approval of the 2022 budget to start multiple programs, including the implementation of the memorandum of understanding concluded with the head of the Iranian Martyrs Foundation, Qazi Zadeh, with the aim of strengthening cooperation, strengthening ties and benefiting from the capabilities that exist there, with very large hospitals, with the possibility of making prosthetic limbs, not to mention the Facilitating religious tourism between the two countries.
