The Iraqi government directed to facilitate the procedures for supporting and establishing simple companies
Shafaq News/ The Minister of Planning, Khaled Batal Al-Najm, announced today, Wednesday, the direction of measures to support and establish simple companies with a view to developing the private sector in the country.
This came while he chaired today an expanded meeting of the Private Sector Development Council, attended by the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Suha Al-Najjar, and representatives of federations, unions and associations affiliated with the private sector, as well as the undersecretaries of the Ministry of Planning, and representatives of ministries and relevant authorities.
During the meeting, the minister said that the council is working according to a clear vision that aims to advance the reality of the private sector through many policies and procedures that can contribute in this aspect, pointing to the trend towards facilitating procedures for supporting and establishing simple companies, which can attract young people. In appropriate circumstances, by facilitating the procedures for their registration, and granting them soft loans.
He stressed working to amend the controls and instructions for supporting medium-sized projects, and working to encourage small capital, and this requires skills development, and the provision of business incubators.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of issues and files related to the development of the private sector, and the Council took the necessary measures and recommendations in this regard, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
