Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the United Nations Security Council to hold an emergency session to discuss the Turkish aggression on Iraqi territory.

In a statement received by Alsumaria News, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said that "a letter of complaint was sent to the Security Council and a request was made to hold an emergency session to discuss the Turkish aggression."

Last Wednesday, the Turkish bombing of Dhoom governorate killed 9 people and wounded 23 others.
