The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "the Security and Defense Committee held a deliberative meeting headed by Representative Khaled Al-Obeidi and in the presence of the number of members of the committee to discuss the file of their contracts rescinded."
She explained, "During the meeting, the committee discussed the visit of the subcommittee formed to follow up the file of their rescinded contracts to the relevant authorities and to know the criteria used to return them," stressing "its intention to visit the remaining concerned authorities to follow up on the file."
In a related development, the committee examined “the recent security repercussions and the procedures of the security authorities concerned with protecting government institutions and demonstrators,” noting “the importance of the security services bearing their responsibility to protect public property and citizens, especially peaceful demonstrators, and to hold accountable infiltrators and anyone who begs himself to attack state property.” and terrorizing citizens.

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee held today, Thursday, a parliamentary meeting to discuss a number of files, including the protection of government institutions and whose contracts have been voided.
