The Federal Ministry of Planning confirmed that the results of the surveys it is conducting are not 100% accurate.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said that in response to the accusations that the ministry is exposed to from time to time regarding the lack of credibility of the figures and ratios it announces, the issued statistics cannot be questioned, as they depend on evidence and proofs based on real data.
Al-Hindawi added that the results of the surveys conducted by the ministry are not 100% accurate, pointing out that accurate numbers are produced only through the general population census, and since the census was not conducted, the ministry is obliged to adopt globally recognized field surveys.
And he indicated that random samples taken from the community are included in scientific statistical equations to reach national rates that are close to reality in one way or another in accordance with international standards, as they can be used according to plans that address their problems in the areas of poverty, unemployment, inflation and other fields.
