    [size=45]The Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission recently revealed 4 files of waste and manipulation of public money in Dhi Qar, within a time limit of one month, which is a remarkable move in this field, and while it indicated the waste of billions of dinars and manipulation of official papers, it issued judicial arrest warrants against a number of accused.[/size]
    [size=45](Al-Mada) monitored 4 cases revealed by the Federal Integrity Commission during the period from January 23, 2023 to December 22, 2022, talking about controlling the waste of 3.4 billion dinars in public money in the Dhi Qar textile factory, and waste and damage to public money in the processing and purchase of medical devices worth 15 billion dinars.[/size]
    [size=45]This is in addition to the issuance of two arrest warrants against the former Director General of the Dhi Qar Investment Commission in a case of violations related to real estate that were offered for investment and caused damage to the funds and interests of the entity in which he works. For violating the duties of his job and not lifting the encroachment on a property belonging to the State Real Estate Department. A statement by the Integrity Commission stated, “The Commission’s investigations department confirmed its implementation of operations to control cases of waste of public money in Dhi Qar Governorate, indicating that the amount of waste in public money amounted to approximately (3,400,000,000) dinars,” noting that “the work team of the Dhi Qar Investigation Office, who moved to the Dhi Qar textile factory, carried out two separate seizures.”[/size]
    [size=45]She explained that “during the first operation, the contract for the supply of armor plates that the factory contracted with a public company in 2019 for an amount of (2,400,000,000) dinars was seized.” Preparing (10,000) armor plates consensually, without taking any action. And he added, “which caused the platelets to accumulate and be consumed.”[/size]

    [size=45]In a previous statement issued at the end of last year, the Integrity Commission announced that it had monitored cases of waste and damage to public money in the process of supplying and purchasing medical devices, in addition to cases of fraud in a number of departments in Dhi Qar Governorate.[/size]
    [size=45]The Commission’s Investigation Department indicated that the investigations carried out by the team of the Dhi Qar Investigation Office at Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital revealed the presence of large containers left in the hospital since 2014, indicating that they contain medical devices worth (8,448,862) million dollars that it contracted to supply. The General Company for Marketing Medicines and Medical Supplies “Kimadia” with the German company (HT).[/size]
    [size=45]Noting that “the competent investigating judge decided to approach the Ministry of Health to conduct the administrative investigation; To indicate the presence of irregularities in the processing process, and not to enter the materials in stock. And the statement continued, “In a separate operation in the Department of Health, the Department reported that the initials of the (SCAN PET) device had not been entered into service since its purchase in 2019,” noting that the device, which was purchased for an amount of (2,290,000,000) dinars, has been destroyed. because the department did not benefit from it; As a result of not bringing it into service since it was equipped and installed, which led to damage to public money.”[/size]
    [size=45]And the statement stated that “the field team of the office monitored the presence of fraud and forgery in books allegedly issued by the Social Protection Department in Dhi Qar, and as a result, it conducted an investigation in the Social Protection Department and the (Ki Card) company,” indicating that “the team was able to seize (30) books Allegedly issued by the department and addressed to (Ki Card) Company - Customer Service Center; For the purpose of issuing smart cards for the beneficiaries of the social protection network. In a subsequent statement issued in the middle of this month, the Integrity Commission revealed that two arrest warrants had been issued against the former director general of the Dhi Qar Investment Commission and indicated that “the Nasiriyah Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, issued two arrest warrants against the former director general of the Dhi Qar Investment Commission, in the matter of violations that occurred in Referring a real estate as an investment opportunity; Which led to intentional damage to the funds and interests of the entity in which he works.”[/size]

    [size=45]Last October, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed the issuance of a recruitment order against the deputy head of the Dhi Qar Investment Commission, against the backdrop of violations in one of the major investment projects in the province. It exceeded (105) billion Iraqi dinars.[/size]
