    The Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Fuad Hussein, the American capital, Washington, tomorrow; To participate in the work of the Supreme Coordinating Committee for the Strategic Framework Agreement between Iraq and the United States. The meeting axes will consist of three files.

    An analysis by Al-Bayan Center for Studies, followed by "NAS" (February 7, 2023) stated that the strategic agreement will occupy the largest part of the visit, which will discuss other issues that will contribute to determining the nature of relations between Baghdad and Washington at the current stage, which is characterized as a critical stage that requires a great deal of realism and caution in choosing options.  
      
    The analysis added: The relations between Baghdad and Washington are characterized by a duality tainted with contradiction: a clear and explicit commitment on the American side, offset by a lack of clarity of vision on the Iraqi side, to the extent that American decision-making circles were baffled by the Iraqi foreign political behavior in many issues, starting from Avoiding discussing the strategic framework agreement, and it does not end when abstaining from voting on 3/2/2022 on the UN resolution condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which Washington interpreted as a vote in favor of Moscow, especially since on the same day the UN resolution was voted on Unidentified persons hung a poster bearing the image of the Russian President in the Jadiriya district of the capital, Baghdad, written on it in English (We support Russia), and the Russian embassy in Baghdad published it on its website on the Twitter application, on the same day (1), before the forces Iraqi security to remove it.
