Said Saad's "Eye of Iraq News," that "Kerry's visit is an important step after the formation of the new government to strengthen the position of the government of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi at the external level, as well as the implementation of the agreements, which disavowed by Washington in the past."
"The visit to Baghdad underlines Washington's support for the Government of Abadi and give them confidence and logistical support, moral as well as to assist in responding to terrorism and defeat the factions incitements," asserting that "the initiative and Washington sending its foreign minister, came to reinforce the position of Abadi and the welfare of his government."
