The deputy of the State of Law coalition, Jassim Al-Moussawi, confirmed that the government should increase its efforts and transfer all daily financial transactions to electronic payment.
Al-Moussawi said that the government's step towards automating the outlets electronically is an essential first step that must be followed by larger steps.
He added that these measures give great importance to the strength of the Iraqi dinar, pointing out that the government is pushing towards overcoming the dollar crisis and adopting new mechanisms to maintain circulation and not give an opportunity to smuggle hard currency outside the country.
He added that the House of Representatives supports the measures of the Council of Ministers and the Central Bank to raise the price of the dinar because of its positive results on the standard of living and enhancing the value of the national currency.
