Shafaq News/ The representative of the Sovereignty Alliance, Abdul Karim Abtan, questioned, on Saturday, the seriousness of implementing the "political agreement" on the basis of which the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani was formed, and which he called for sending a draft general amnesty law.
Abtan said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, "Al-Sudani's government was formed on the basis of a political agreement that includes a number of political items that were included in the government program, foremost of which is the issuance of a general amnesty law according to specific time periods. After many months, the draft law from the government did not reach us. This makes us question the seriousness of implementing what was agreed upon.”
