Today, Monday, the Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, received a phone call from the Ukrainian President, Vladimir Zelensky.
A statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by (Baghdad Today), said, "The contact dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop and develop them in a way that serves common interests."
The statement added, "During the call, the importance of reaching a peaceful solution in Ukraine was emphasized, and dialogue was taken as a way to end this crisis, which caused many tragedies."
Zelensky said, according to the statement, that "Iraq is a pivotal and important country, and he is keen to develop relations with Iraq in all fields, based on this importance."
