Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Oil announced the final statistics of oil exports for the month of March.
The ministry stated, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that "the total oil exports and revenues achieved for the month of March, according to the final statistics issued by SOMO, amounted to 100,913,027 million barrels of crude oil, with revenues amounting to more than 7 billion dollars."
The statistics indicated, according to the ministry’s statement, that “the total exported quantities of crude oil for the month of March from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (98) million (875) thousand and (692) barrels, while the exported quantities of Kirkuk oil through Ceyhan port (1) million and (727) thousand and (494) barrels,” noting that “the average price per barrel amounted to (74,385) dollars.”
And she continued, "The exported quantities have been loaded by (35) international companies of several nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor al-Amaya, mono-buoys on the Gulf, and the Turkish port of Ceyhan."
It is noteworthy that the ministry, through its belief in informing the people of export operations and the revenues generated from them, has taken this monthly procedure.
