"Neither amnesty nor budget"... Parliament discusses six laws on Saturday

Shafaq News/ The Presidency of the Iraqi Parliament has set next Saturday as the date for the resumption of its sessions, to discuss six draft laws.
The Parliament's agenda, which is published below by Shafak News Agency, showed that the session will be held at 11 am next Saturday, corresponding to April 29, and includes voting on the draft law of the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Regulation, and the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Marrakesh Treaty to facilitate Access to published works for the benefit of persons who are blind, visually impaired, or those with other disabilities in reading publications, and the first reading of the draft law of the second amendment to the law of scientific and advisory services offices in institutions of higher education and scientific research No. 7 of 1997, and the report and discussion of the second reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the system The basic document of the Islamic Organization for Food Security and the report and discussion of the second reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement on avoiding double taxation and preventing financial evasion with regard to taxes on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the State of KuwaitAnd the report and discussion of the second reading of the draft law for renting agricultural lands.
The agenda did not include discussing any of the draft general amnesty laws or the federal budget.
Earlier, the Taqaddam bloc, led by Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, confirmed that the amnesty law legislation would precede the state budget law.
