A member of the Parliamentary Agriculture, Water and Marshes Committee, Rafik Hashim Al-Salihi, revealed, on Thursday, that his committee seeks to include job grades in the 2023 budget for agricultural engineers and veterinarians.
Al-Salhi said in a press interview, which was seen by Taqaddam, that “all state institutions need their services, including health, interior, defense, environment, border crossings, agriculture, and higher education.”
He added, "The Agriculture and Water Committee works to ensure the provision of job opportunities for agricultural engineers and veterinarians, and to activate their role in state institutions."
He pointed out that “his committee strongly supports the agricultural sabbatical file, according to which many legislations have been amended to achieve guarantees for agricultural graduates and veterinarians through ensuring retirement, allowance, promotion and land contracting, which leads to ownership with the right to establish manufacturing industries so that this vital project is for the benefit of agricultural engineers and veterinarians.” .
