    The Federal Integrity Commission was able to seize hundreds of purchase receipts, receipt books and seals belonging to fake offices and shops in one of the departments of the Ministry of Water Resources in Salah al-Din Governorate.
    And the Investigation Department within the Commission stated, in a statement that the /information/ copy of it received, “The Commission’s investigation office in Salah al-Din, and after receiving information from private sources, took the initiative to form a team to investigate and investigate that information that includes the management of the Samarra site of the Department of Execution of Creation Works.” Rivers in the Samarra district of the Ministry of Water Resources, using fake receipts and seals in the transactions of repair and maintenance of mechanisms.
    And the department stated that "the office team began conducting investigations and investigating the information that it found to be correct, and after obtaining judicial orders, it moved to Samarra district, where the site management headquarters is affiliated with the River Irrigation Works Execution Department, and was able to seize the site manager and the self-responsible in it, and ( 30) stamps belonging to fake shops and offices in Samarra, and (102) books of fake purchase receipts, in addition to seizing (242) purchase receipts (used and empty).
    And she added, "The operation also resulted in seizing a file of purchase transactions for the years (2021, 2022, and 2023) containing fake purchase receipts for which sums of money were spent, pointing out that the purchase receipts, receipt books, and seized seals are used by the defendants in conducting fake transactions to repair and maintain machinery." And take the amounts of those transactions for their own account. 
    And she noted, "The organization of a fundamental record of the operation, and its presentation, along with the defendants, purchase receipts, receipt books, and seized seals, to the competent investigating judge, who decided to arrest the accused, based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code."
