An Iraqi-Jordanian meeting to determine the electrical connection requirements

An Iraqi-Jordanian meeting was held yesterday, Sunday, to determine the latest electrical connection requirements and obligations, in preparation for its entry into force.
A statement by the Ministry of Electricity stated, "The meeting came with the aim of completing work requirements to complete the (Iraqi-Jordanian) electrical connection, which is an important part of the ministry's policy to diversify energy sources, and achieve part of the stability of the electrical network, according to the directives of the Minister of Electricity Ziyad Ali Fadel, due to the importance of entering the project." work in the coming period.
He added, "The Director General of the General Company for Electricity Transmission in the Central Region, Riyad Oraibi, in charge, representing the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, held a meeting at the Trebil port with the Jordanian side to discuss the final stages of completing the link line and the required technical works." The statement stated, "It was agreed to complete all requirements from the Iraqi and Jordanian sides."
The Director General of Energy Transmission, according to the statement, referred to "the readiness of the Iraqi electrical network to discharge the loads agreed upon in the energy transmission network of Anbar Governorate, one of the central energy transmission formations, and within the Rutba district and its regions, to contribute to increasing electricity supply hours."
