Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Finance announced the start of funding the salaries of retirees (civilian and military) for the current month of October.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by the “Information” Agency, that “the Accounting Department has begun launching funding for the salaries of civil and military retirees for the current month, as the Ministry confirmed that the management of the Rafidain and Rasheed Banks and the National Retirement Authority will expedite the completion of procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees via electronic payment cards.”
The Ministry called on all civilian and military retirees who will receive text messages to "visit bank branches and automated teller machine outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries." Ended/25
