    Today, Saturday, the Iraq Assets Recovery Fund counted its achievements in less than a year, while noting the return of 21 wanted persons from several countries, including Britain.
    The Vice Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, Ayman Al-Baidhani, said in a post on Facebook, followed by Al-Iqtisad News: “On July 25, 2023, we were appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iraq Assets Recovery Fund, and we list below the most important achievements achieved up to today’s date, the 20th.” April 2024: -
    21 wanted persons were recovered to the Integrity Commission according to judicial rulings and decisions from Jordan, Turkey, the Emirates, Britain, Egypt, Malaysia and Iran
    - The wanted persons for whom a decision was issued to extradite 2 from the Emirates and Syria
    - The number of wanted persons who are under trial and extradition 25.
    As for the money recovery aspect, Al-Baydani explained, “The achievements achieved in the money recovery file were: - 
    More than 80 million dollars from France and Switzerland that were owned by one of the former intelligence service officers.
    - An amount of 26 million dollars belongs to one of the front companies that was Managed by the former intelligence service
    - an amount of 2 million dollars goes to the dissolved agencies
    - an amount of 4 billion two hundred and fifty million Iraqi dinars goes to the dissolved Republican Guard
    - an amount of 600 million Iraqi dinars goes to the dissolved National
    Council Dollars belonging to the Ministry of Transport
    - More than 96 million dollars to the Ministry of Finance, representing dormant accounts dating back to before 2003.
    - More than 31 thousand UAE dirhams for the benefit of Al-Rafidain Bank
    - 300 dunams in the name of (Ali Hassan Al-Majid).
    - Three properties in the Al-Daoudi area in the name of the president The staff of the army in the previous regime is valued at billions of dinars
    - a plot of agricultural land (5 acres) in the name of a member of the regional leadership of the Baath Party.
    He concluded by saying: “He was pursued and detained more internationally.”
