The union’s statement, which was received by Al-Sumaria News, said: “There is absolutely no truth to the disappearance of 8 billion dinars in the Iraqi Bar Association, as nothing of the lawyers’ money has disappeared.”
He added, "The published clips talk about another incident and sharp and legitimate differences between the Bar Council, while what this matter actually means is to point out the existence of accounting differences in the Lawyers' Retirement Fund, which is completely independent from the Iraqi Bar Association administratively and financially."

The union’s statement, which was received by Al-Sumaria News, said: “There is absolutely no truth to the disappearance of 8 billion dinars in the Iraqi Bar Association, as nothing of the lawyers’ money has disappeared.”
