The local government of Babylon called on the Ministry of Planning to expedite the approval of the governorate’s project plan for this year, in order to initiate its referral and implementation. Governor Engineer Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri told “Al-Sabah” that his government called on the Ministry of Planning to expedite the approval of the governorate’s project plan, especially since the financial budget is ready and that the continued disbursement of financial allocations to ongoing projects, specifically service projects, aims to ensure their completion on time, indicating that his government has developed an action plan to follow up. Implementing strategic projects throughout the governorate, especially since Babylon suffered greatly during the previous years due to the failure to complete many projects, which negatively affected its service situation, indicating that the large Hilla sewerage project is among the most important projects in need of financing.
