Hussein pointed out that the Ministry concluded 100 investment contracts with the private sector, in addition to implementing major investment projects with giant companies, including the Sama Karbala poultry slaughterhouse project, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, and is considered one of the largest projects in the Middle East, as it consists of 94 projects. A large hall, in addition to the investment in the Samawa Desert project by a Saudi company, and other projects for animal production, and raising calves and sheep.
He added that the country currently needs to develop the agricultural sector by establishing and rehabilitating food factories in an effort to prevent imports and the exit of hard currency.
