The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, announced on Wednesday that progress had been achieved in the ministry’s aspects in the field of electronic payment.
A statement from the ministry, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, said. “Minister Al-Assadi chaired a meeting of the opinion committee in the presence of senior staff, and during the meeting he stressed the follow-up of simplifying procedures in dealing with citizens because the ministry deals directly with fragile and vulnerable groups,” stressing “the necessity of providing assistance and continuing without any obstruction in completing citizens’ transactions as quickly as possible.” maybe".
Al-Asadi explained - according to the statement - that “the Ministry has achieved advanced stages in activating and implementing the electronic payment system (POS) in all departments and bodies, based on the government’s directions and the Prime Minister’s assurances.”
The statement indicated, “Minister Al-Asadi discussed the topics on the agenda, including attention to the facades of the ministry’s buildings, its bodies and departments, and directing the Projects and Reconstruction Department to follow up on the issue, as well as emphasizing attention to inquiries in the ministry and its departments in Baghdad and the governorates, and preparing appropriate places to receive visitors and provide all basic needs for that.”
He continued, “The meeting discussed the proposed program for cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran through two memorandums of understanding in the field of technical and vocational education and training, as well as in the field of social protection, while the issue of politically dismissed persons was discussed through a study prepared by the Department of Planning and Studies, as the Minister directed the ministry’s departments to determine their need.” Of the employees of the Political Chapter and the Planning Department prepares courses to develop their skills in all departments of the Ministry.
