Representative Amir Al-Mamouri confirmed, on Thursday, the move to resolve the fate of food security contracts in 15 governorates.
Al-Mamouri said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “A parliamentary move has actually begun through all the signatures of dozens of members to refer the food security contracts file to the Parliamentary Finance Committee to be part of the 2024 budget amendments.”
He added, "There is an effort to resolve their confirmation and guarantee their rights, just like the rest of the contracts, according to fixed and clear paths."
He pointed out that "the collection of signatures comes to push the Finance Committee to take all measures to guarantee their rights with the imminent arrival of the items and schedules of the 2024 budget."
