Sisi confirms Egypt's support for the Iraqi army in its war against terrorism
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi Tuesday affirmed Egypt's full support to the efforts of the Iraqi army in the face of the organization Daash.
The Defense Ministry said in a statement that al-Obeidi, "visited the evening after his arrival in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in the presence of His Sedki Sobhi Egyptian Defense Minister, and Iraq's ambassador in Cairo, Alaa Youssef."

He pointed Sisi according to the statement to "pride in the distinguished brotherly relations that combines the two countries and peoples," he said. "Egypt's full support to the efforts of the Iraqi army to overcome the challenge of terrorism."
He stressed, "Egypt's keenness to support Iraq and its army in order to restore its sovereignty over all its territory and to overcome all the current security threats."
